Mahila E – Haat

NAME  :  Mahila E-Haat ( Online Market place ) 

TYPE OF YOJANA  :  This is a web based marketing platform developed for e-marketing of various products made/ manufactured / sold by women entrepreneurs &  SHG ( Self Help Groups ) of poor women.

MINISTRY  :  Ministry of Women and Child Development.
The web portal is launched by Rashtriya Mahila Kosh an Autonomous Society under the ministry.

PURPOSE  :  To empower and strengthen financial inclusion of Women Entrepreneurs in the economy by providing continued sustenance and support to their creativity.

• To act as a catalyst by providing a web based marketing platform to the women entrepreneurs to directly sell to the buyers.

LAUNCHING  DETAILS  :  This web platform was launched  by Smt. Menaka Gandhi Hon.Minister for Women and Child Development on 7^th March 2016.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE  :  All women entrepreneurs individually can register themselves on the Portal. Additionally women can join through their NGO ( Non Government Organisation ) and through their SHG ( Self Help Groups )

BENEFICIARIES  :  Around 1,25,000 Women entrepreneurs are direct beneficiaries of this project.
