NAME : Stand up India
TYPE OF YOJANA : This is a scheme which provides finance for business to Women from all categories and persons from Schedule Casts and Schedule Tribes. Under this scheme finance from Rs.10 Lacs to Rs.1 Crores is provided through 1 Lac 25 Thousand Bank Branches through out India.

PURPOSE : The main purpose of the Stand up India scheme is to leverage institutional credit to reach out to the hitherto undeserved sector of people such as women from all categories and persons from scheduled castes and tribes.

The basic purpose is to also to promoting entrepreneurship at grass root level among them and to transform Women and SC and ST persons employers from Employment seekers and to generate employment.

The Stand Up India Portal ( a digital platform ) is created to provide 3 types of support for enterprise promotion
1) Handholding Support
2) Information on financing
3) Providing Credit Guanrantee.
BEST FEATURE : Under this yojana a permanent ecosystem has been created to support beneficiaries. On training side this include Rural Self Employment Training Institutes, vocational Training Institutes, MSME training Institutes, District Industries Center, Dalit Industrial Chamber of Commerce ( DICCI ) and many such voluntary organizations. There is one lead District manager for each district . And on the financing side there are various Nationalized Banks under the monitoring of SIDBI and NABARD. This total eco system is supported by Stand Up Mitra Portal.
LAUNCHING DETAILS : This yojana was launched by Hon. Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister on 5th April 2016 at a function held in Noida, Near New Delhi to coincide with the 125th Birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Bhimrav Ambedkar.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE : If you are a Women or belong to SC or ST category you can avail loan under this scheme. You can apply for the Loan on line through the Stand Up Mitra Portal or directly through a Bank or through District Lead Manager. Details are available on the Stand Up Mitra Portal.
BENEFICIARIES : Till date 63,412 persons have been sanctioned loans under this yojana for Rs.13845 Crores. Till date 50244 loans have been disbursed for an amount of Rs.7609 Crores. 1,86,804 persons have registered on the Stand up India portal. For Hand holding support thousands of beneficiaries have registered on the portal.
